General Ratios

Black tea: 1 tsp per 8 oz • 200–212°F • 3–5 min

Green tea: 1 tsp per 8 oz • 170–185°F • 2–3 min

Herbal/tisanes: 1–1.5 tsp per 8 oz • 200–212°F • 5–7+ min

 

Pro Tips

Warm your mug first so heat goes to the leaves, not the cup.

Don’t squeeze the infuser - this can add bitterness.

Re-steep quality leaves 1–2 times (taste and adjust time).

Best Practices

Store in an airtight container away from light, heat, and moisture.

Ideal spot: a cool cupboard (not over the stove).

For peak flavor, enjoy within 6–12 months of purchase (herbals often last longer if stored well).

 

Allergens & Kitchen Notes
Our teas are blended in a rented commercial kitchen space that may handle common allergens. We do not add nuts, dairy, or gluten ingredients to our tea blends, but cross-contact may be possible. Please contact us with any concerns.

What makes The Noble Steep unique?
Our blends come with lore and a small quest! It provides a moment of magic with your cup of tea. Each blend is hand blended by a tea knight!

How many cups are in 1 oz?
Leaf size varies, but ~15–20 cups is typical (using ~1 tsp per 8 oz). Herbals with larger pieces may yield fewer cups; finer teas may yield more.

Are your teas caffeinated?
We offer both. Look for Black/Green (caffeinated) and Herbal (naturally caffeine-free).

Do you offer subscriptions?
Yes! Join the Steeped Scroll for monthly themed blends, lore, and quests.

How do I change or cancel my subscription?
You can edit any of you information by signing into your account here or by reaching out to me directly at Hannah@thenoblesteep.com.

*Note:* If you sign up for the Prepaid option: there is no cancellation or refund available. The subscription is offered as a discounted one time purchase, and we are not able to offer a partial refund.

Shipping & Returns

Processing Time
Orders typically ship within 3–5 business days.

The Steeped Scroll ships out on the 15th of the month via non-tracked USPS stamped mail.

Shipping Methods
Tracked U.S. shipping via USPS or UPS. Rates shown at checkout. Free shipping thresholds may apply during promotions.

Order Issues
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos so we can help.

If you do not receive the Steeped Scroll Envelope by the end of the calendar month, please reach out to me at hannah@thenoblesteep.com and I can process a refund. 

Returns
For safety and quality, tea is non-returnable. If there’s a problem, we’ll make it right! Reach out and we’ll work with you on a solution.
